Paint is a great material, especially when paired with air pressure. The glow-in-the-dark variety is particularly special, since it provides so much opportunity for surprise and delight. Places and things, and consequently times, can be colored with this highly versatile surface adherent and the non-intrusive, below-the-radar mode of working it implies.

Of particular note is the cover of the “x” booklet pictured below. Treated with glow-in-the-dark “flood varnish,” it features a suface on which a handheld light traces temporary marks. Inside is a map to buried (ok more like sky-crumbled-over) treasure.
